VANESSA MITCHELL, ACTOR
Vanessa Mitchell was born in San Diego and knew
early on she would have a career in the arts. She attended the
University of Michigan and graduated summa cum laude with a Fine Arts
degree. Before moving to Los Angeles, she honed her skills
as a jewelry designer and fine craftswoman. Upon graduating, her
work had already been exhibited internationally.
A three-year apprenticeship as a diamond setter
followed, but Vanessa’s love for acting called her to L.A. to expand
her jewelry line and begin a professional career as an actress. A
trainee at the Beverly Hills Playhouse, she has been involved in a
number of independent films. Vanessa just completed her first
short as writer/director/producer/actor, she is almost finished with a
novel and has completed a dramatic screenplay.
Always with a happy attitude on set, Vanessa often works with people
more than once and enjoys developing new friendships. She’s
traveled all over the world and has backpacked alone across
Europe. She enjoys songwriting, cookies & cupcakes, and
adores spending time with her family
